Von Trier will soon begin serving food

saloononcalhoun
Brookfield bar porks up
If the bacon craze is winding down, don't tell that to the Saloon on Calhoun, which recently changed its name to the Saloon on Calhoun With Bacon. The popular western suburban sports bar and grill, nestled in a most unexpected location at 17000 W. Capitol Dr., is going bananas for bacon, putting the pork in everything from cocktails to apps to desserts.
lamichoacanapaletero
Hey, paletero guy!
Antonino Ramirez works a bicycle-driven cart, owned by La Michoacana, containing paletas, the increasingly popular fruit-based frozen treats that were first made in Mexico.
cabinculture
Lake cabin culture
"Return to Wake Robin" is a family memoir and a celebration of youth spent in the idyllic Northwoods of Wisconsin, but Marnie Mamminga expands her reach and looks, too, at the golden age of Northwoods camps and cabins, through the story of Moody's Camp, adjacent to the land where her grandparents built their cabin, which they dubbed Wake Robin.
scottishfest
Scottish Fest
From sheepdogs to caber tosses, from Celtic music to cricket demonstrations, Scottish Fest/Highland Games offers one of the most fun one-day events of the Milwaukee-area summer.
