Recently, the Kalahari resort in the Wisconsin Dells renovated again, adding three new water slides that required workers to, literally, raise the roof.

Sure, the traditional vacation season comes to an end Labor Day Weekend but there are still plenty of reasons to take the short trip to Wisconsin Dells this Fall.

Kevin Lederer has a licensing agreement with Glendale's Sprecher Brewery and opened three Sprecher's restaurants / bars in 18 months. There is one each in Madison, Wisconsin Dells and Lake Geneva. Lederer says a future Milwaukee Sprecher's is a "no-brainer."

If getting the most bang for your buck is top priority in a vacation package, than Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park in the Wisconsin Dells is worth wading into. The wave pool with nine-foot tidal waves is a thrill that's not available anywhere else in The Dells.
