Prince Fielder may be long gone, but when the big first baseman won the 2011 All-Star Game MVP as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers, he designated the Milwaukee County Parks as a recipient of a donation in his honor. The result is the newly named James W. Beckum Park, which will host a ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 26.
The Milwaukee County Parks announced it will open seven golf courses for the season on Saturday morning. Players will be able to take advantage of the lowest rates of the season by getting in their swings early. New golf discount cards will also be available for purchase.
