This progressive pop group is an eclectic collection of some of Milwaukee’s best musicians including… the soaring vocals of pop singer Michael Henszey, the mastery of Russian concert pianist Kostia, the R&B grooves of drummer Del Bennett, the funk bass of Eric Hervey, and the crunch provided by metal guitarist Mark Woerpel. The group’s new record, It’s Life, was released in May 2000 with nine original songs including the poignant un-plugged title track, It’s Life. The CD features special guest performances by guitar legends Daryl Stuermer, and Greg Koch. It’s Life was mixed at the legendary Cherokee Studios in Los Angeles.

The Bystander’s fans enjoy their musicianship, powerful original songs, and adventurous live re-makes from groups including The Police, Led Zeppelin, and Peter Gabriel.
