Description:
Guitar-slingin' journalist Mike Starling started the Bean Hoy band as an outlet for his wry, topical tunes about subjects like road construction, farmer tans and the joys of beater cars and Wisconsin winters. The band's Milwaukee-based lineup (drummer Bob Mueller, bassist Jared Drake and guitarist Tom Plutshack) was active between 2006 and 2010. Songs by all members are showcased on the album, Get Lost: The Studio J Sessions.
