MetroEXpress, route changes coming to MCTS
The Milwaukee Country Transit System will introduce MetroEXpress bus service, add two local routes and make changes to seven others starting Sunday, Jan. 29.
MetroEXpress service will offer special RedLine, BlueLine and GreenLines to cater to Greater Milwaukee's popular entertainment and business areas.
MCTS will also add Route 56, which replaces part of former Routes 18 and 11, and Route 52, which replaces part of Route 15 service. Other changes will also be made to Routes 15, 23, 54, 62 and 63.
Information and maps outlining the changes will be available in a special issue of Bus Lines on board MCTS buses, temporary bus stop signs, display boards and printed schedules. Customers may also call the MCTS information line at (414) 344-6711 or visit RideMCTS.com.
