The Pfister Hotel's selection committee has chosen six finalists for the 2012-13 term of its nationally recognized artist-in-residence program.

Artists Pamela Anderson, Matt Duckett, Albin Erhart, Hal Koenig, Brandon Minga and Timothy Westbrook were selected by a panel of local art community members to move on to the final voting stage of the process.

The public will be able to vote for the hotel's next featured artist online starting mid-January. Work by the six finalists will also be displayed at Gallerie M inside InterContinental Milwaukee for January Gallery Night, Friday, Jan. 20, where the public will be able to vote via ballot box.

The selection committee will announce the next artist in residence mid-February. The chosen artist will move into The Pfister's studio space in April, where he or she will work and interact directly with hotel guests and visitors.
