Haggerty Museum of Art starts the new year with four new exhibits
Marquette University's Haggerty Museum of Art will present four new exhibits Jan. 18-May 20, 2012.
The featured exhibitions include "The Europeans," a collection of photographs by Tina Barney; "Philip Guston: Inevitable Finality, The Gemini G.E.L. Prints," a presentation of all 25 lithographs created in the last two months of the artist's life; "John Stezaker: Marriage," an exhibition of nine "Film Portraits" made by the British conceptual artist between 2009 and 2011; and "Selections from the Mary B. Finnigan Collection," which will showcase works from the Haggerty's permanent collection.
All four exhibits will be available for viewing Monday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. Admission to the museum is free.
