Help fulfill the Charles Allis and Villa Terrace's holiday wish list

The Charles Allis and Villa Terrace Art Museums' 2011 Wish List campaign needs your help to raise funds to restore the Villa Terrace's Terrace d'Luna.

The museums' annual Wish List, a public campaign to help fund their most-needed projects, began Oct. 15. This year's contributions will help repair cracked tiles and leaking drainage on the terrace.

The public is encouraged to donate to the campaign online or via a check made out to CAVT Museums. Mailed contributions can be sent to Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum, 2220 N. Terrace Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202. Every dollar raised will be matched with two dollars, up to $23,000, by the Friends of Villa Terrace.

During the winter Gallery Night on Friday, Jan. 20 the Charles Allis and Villa Terrace Art Museums are launching their signature beer, "Allis Ale," which was brewed by Lakefront Brewery. The specialty beer will be available for purchase at all Charles Allis and Villa Terrace Museum events.
