Food & Froth Fest raises a glass to Milwaukee's brewing history

Sample a selection of beers from around the world, as well as appetizers provided by some of Milwaukee's best caterers and restaurants, when the Milwaukee Public Museum's popular Food & Froth Fest returns for its 14th year Saturday, Feb. 18.

This year's event will feature more than 200 different beers from local microbreweries to international names, plus a wide variety of mouthwatering area foods. Guests can also enjoy live local music from Mt. Zion Soundsystem, the Brewhaus Polka Kings and others.

Food & Froth tickets are $55 for MPM members, $70 for non-members and $100 for VIP tickets. VIP tickets include a special VIP room with additional beer and appetizers at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 entry into the main event and five free raffle tickets. Proceeds benefit the Museum's exhibits and educational programs.

Tickets are available by calling (414) 278-2728 or (888) 700-9069 during museum hours. Guests must be at least 21 years of age to attend, and a valid identification is required for entrance into the event.

This used to be a blast. Then it got too expensive and too crowded - to the point where it's nearly impossible to get food and beer. For a good cause, however.
