Wisconsin Gives Back is currently running its 2012 Wisconsin Calendar sales campaign to raise money for a long list of schools and nonprofits in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin.

"This is an opportunity for the general public to have a hand in supporting these schools and nonprofits by simply purchasing a calendar. We give $9 from each $15 calendar to the participating group chosen by each purchaser," executive director Jake Knox said via email.

Knox also says $9 is "literally the whole profit of each sale," so your money will work effectively. Of course, don't hold back and feel free to donate directly to these many groups, too.
