What's the No. 1 rule of cool? Never admit your own coolness.
These Milwaukeeans are probably too cool to flaunt their own panache, so that's why we are doing it for them.
In the spirit of OnMilwaukee.com's popular "100 hottest lists" parts one and two, we present our list of 100 coolest Milwaukeeans. Remember, this list is alphabetical, not ranked in order of hip-ness.
And, no, this is not a tribute to our personal friends; this is a collection of local public figures whose ideas, actions and creations make Milwaukee a cooler place to be.

I thought the purpose of a people you don't know list is to list people you don't know. 3/4 of these people are Milwaukee sociallites.

Isn't Eugene Kane too angry all the time to be cool?

Yes Chris Tishler and Greg Koch are cool. But I can't believe you all forgot about Mark Belling. Must have been an oversight. Kathleen Bronson

The coolest thing going in Milwaukee is Mondo Lucha so you should have added Jay Gilkay and Andy Gorzalski. You should have also added East Town's Peter Adams and Erin Wolf from WMSE. I'll give you Mika Gousha. He's cooler than cool. He's ice cold!
