Shemmy N Lemmy's Irish Rec Room moves into old Bootlegger's
Shemmy N Lemmy's Irish Rec Room has taken over the former Bootlegger's space, 1023 N. Old World 3rd St. It will open to the public in December.
The bar and restaurant will feature a large selection of craft beer and homemade Irish food. They will also have live music, indoor rock climbing walls, life-size Jenga and "excessively large boxing glove matches."

I'll always remember my great-grandfather telling me about how our Irish ancestors used to enjoy rock climbing so much back in the old country. Another solid and authentic addition to this historic street.

I plan on going to the rec room on the regular, because I am really, really dumb, just like the concept. Concept is probably to kind a word, the owners probably went in to the bootlegger's space and said out loud "what's the least amount of work and thought that it will take to open the doors".
