A refreshing Aaron Rodgers.

Arnold Palmer. Shirley Temple. Aaron Rodgers?

I'll have an Aaron Rodgers on the rocks, please.

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers might just have a drink named after him. This is, if you, ESPN 540's Steve "The Homer" True and Marquette basketball announcer (and former player) Jim McIlvaine have anything to say about it.

Here's the background. McIlvaine and Homer were talking on air the other day. McIivane drinks half orange juice and half cranberry juice. He's enjoyed it for years, and Homer thought it needed a name. Cranberries are from Wisconsin and oranges from Rodgers' home state of California. Half cranberry, half orange - it's an Aaron Rodgers.

Why not?

I sampled one this weekend and it's rather refreshing. Add vodka, and boom!

What you think? I say we start ordering Aaron Rodgers all over town and see if we can make a star out of this drink.

Cheers!
